Libi Hake has spent over thirty years working in Chicago's film production community - as a director, producer, and editor after starting her career as a script supervisor, working with Bulls, Bears, one boxing champion and a herd of cows from hell.
In 1994 she began working with Chuck Olin as business manager, producer writer and editor of TV spots, documentaries, and films for corporate clients and non-profits.
Chuck became boss, mentor, champion and friend. She is forever grateful to him for all the friendship, love, encouragement and opportunities he provided.
After Chuck's untimely passing in early 2005, Libi began her own production company, christening it Olin/Hake Films to honor her mentor. She has put all of his lessons - from interviewing and heartfelt story telling to integrity and curiosity - to good use.
Ziggy Hake joined the company in 2008 as assistant editor and Vice President of company morale.
In recent years, Olin Hake Films has produced videos for hospitals and universities, and collaborated on a number of documentary films.
IHer most recent documentary film is "Work At Hand," which she edited and co-produced with director Peter Hartel. The film is currently making the rounds of film festivals.
